First World War was important event for Canada because Canada got it's independence from Britain after WWI. Over 650,000 Canadians served i the allies side of the war, Canadians won a few important battles for Canada in WWI, for example, Second Battle of Ypres(1915), the battle of Somme(1916), the battle of Vimy Ridge(1917), the Battle of Passchendaele(1917), and the Hundred Days Campangnn(1919) . Even Through there were more than 66,000 deaths and 170,000 were wounded, Canada a separate separate seat at the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, because canada were still a British Nation during WWI.

The Battle of Atlantic (1939-1945)
The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest and most important battle in WW2, it started in 1939and ended 1945, and it was so important for the Canadian and the Allied Victory in 1945. If allies losted this Battle against the German U-boats, the Allies might have lost the ground in the Northern Alantic Ocean. That's mean Britain will stop getting any supply like food, weapons, and troops from Canada and The US, without the help from Canada the US, Britain will be the only can stop the Germans advanced in Europe, which was not enough.

Operation Dynamo (May 26- June 4 1940)
Operation Dynamo aka. the Evacuation of Dunkirk was the largest Allied sea evacuation. April 1940, German forces trapped British, French, Belgian, and other Allies troops in the port of Dunkirk. The evacuation started on May 26, with more than 338,000 soldiers were rescued across the English Channel using Royal Navy ships and a lot of civilian boats, the Allies eventually evacuated most of the allies troops in the beach near Dunkirk. If the operation fails, Britain and allies will lost around 338,000 man, which might lead the Allies lost the war. The success of this operation, help Allies plan the invasion that will happen three year later, the Invasion of D-day.

The Normandy Invasion( June, 6 1944)
The Normandy aka the Invasion of D‑Day, was the most massive sea invasion in human history. This invasion also mark the turning point of WW2. More than 156,000 US, British, and Canadian troops(14,000 Canadians)—landed on five Normandy beaches. Canadians land on one of the five code-named beach, Juno Beach, where Canadian troops make their way inland on the first day of the invasion with heavy casualties, 359 died and 715 were wounded. after the invasion, the Allies were able liberate France and the Canadian liberated the Netherlands and Belgium, which also lead the fall of Nazi Germany on May 7, 1945(Victory in Europe Day).
